A Mixed Success is a tool for creating engaging stories at the table. It’s what happens when a plan doesn’t always go perfectly.

Some Common Middle-Ground

Many tabletop role-playing games these days support the idea of a mixed success.  You've probably heard of a few, even if you haven't played them.

I designed this app to help me with my results adjudication as a Game Master and Solo DnD player, as it’s sometimes easier to consult a table than work purely off vibes.

It’s my hope that this tool can be useful for you as well. Give the ledger a look-see.

Multiple Choices

The tool displays adjacent choices, which I find are useful when the main one doesn’t quite feel right.

Like most tools I make on this site, I often use them myself. I recently tested it with a group of players for a one-shot and it was a great assist.

One of my players pointed out to me after the session that the results seem ordered from least severe to most severe.  And, that's spot on.
