Instant Fantasy 3rd Edition is a storytelling engine compatible with most fantasy lands and was designed for coffee shop adventures and dungeon crawls in a pocket notebook.

The rules-light framework of this tabletop role-playing game system was made for solo play in mind.  An assortment of spells, character options, and monsters lay inside, with a core rules glossary no bigger than a pamphlet.

SOLO ADVENTURE PRIMED

This system is ideal for solo adventures you can have on the go, be it pencil and paper or on your laptop.  The system reference document fits on a tablet or smartphone screen and is short enough that you won't have to browse for long to make your rulings.

SYSTEM REFERENCE DOCUMENT

The core rule book is (at least for now) a system reference document (SRD for short).  You can download it for free and it will always be free, as it is published under creative commons.

DEVELOPER NOTE:

I engineered this system to meet my personal needs running solo adventures for characters I don't often get the opportunity to play at my table.  The documents are streamlined and put together so they can be referenced on a tablet or smartphone.

I'm certain there will be a few more small fixes along the way, but I'll post them here.  If you are gracious enough to use this at your table, I'd love to hear your story.
